MOXI™ Laser: Preventative Anti-Aging and Skin Rejuvenation with Minimal Downtime
MOXI™ is a non-ablative fractional laser treatment developed by Sciton, designed to deliver effective, low-downtime skin rejuvenation for all skin types. It’s an ideal choice for patients seeking preventative anti-aging ("prejuvenation"), pigment correction, and long-term skin maintenance without aggressive lasers or extended recovery periods.
Available year-round and safe for Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI, MOXI is a versatile treatment that fits easily into any skincare regimen.
What is MOXI AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
MOXI uses a 1927 nm non-ablative fractional laser to create controlled microthermal zones in the skin’s upper layers. These microscopic injuries activate your skin’s natural healing response, promoting collagen production, cell turnover, and pigment suppression, all while preserving the integrity of the skin’s surface.
This makes MOXI the ideal solution for:
• Treating early signs of aging
• Improving uneven skin tone and texture
• Reducing pigmentation and melasma
• Maintaining skin health between more aggressive procedures
Unlike ablative lasers, MOXI does not remove skin layers, resulting in a gentle, comfortable experience and minimal downtime.

Post-Treatment Recovery and Aftercare
MOXI is a non-invasive treatment with minimal recovery, but proper aftercare is essential for optimal results. You may experience:
Redness for 1–2 days
Slight skin dryness or roughness (known as MENDs: microscopic epidermal necrotic debris)
A bronzed or sandpaper-like texture as old skin sheds naturally
Aftercare Instructions:
Avoid sun exposure and apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily
Use gentle, hydrating cleansers and moisturizers
Do not exfoliate or use retinoids, acids, or active products for 5–7 days
Avoid hot environments (saunas, intense workouts) for 48 hours
Allow skin to heal naturally; avoid picking or peeling
Results and Maintenance
Patients typically see visible improvement after just one MOXI session. However, optimal results occur with a series of 3–4 treatments. Results are cumulative — each session improves skin tone, texture, and luminosity.
To maintain results, we recommend:
Quarterly or biannual maintenance treatments
Consistent use of medical-grade skincare and daily sun protection
Combination treatments with BBL®, microneedling, or chemical peels
