Bio Filler Treatment in London
Bio Filler ezGEL® for Soft, Natural-Looking Volume
Bio Filler with ezGEL® is an injectable treatment prepared from components found within your own blood. It has a smooth, gel-like consistency that can be used to support areas of mild volume loss while also addressing the quality of the surrounding skin.
At Harley Street Injectables in London, Bio Filler is used conservatively to soften facial hollows and create subtle support without producing an overfilled appearance.
How ezGEL® Bio Filler Works
The treatment begins by taking a small sample of your blood into separate collection tubes.
One portion is processed to obtain plasma albumin. This is carefully heated and cooled until it develops a smooth gel consistency.
A second portion is processed at a different centrifuge setting to prepare liquid PRF. The two components are then blended to form ezGEL® Bio Filler.
The albumin-based gel creates temporary support beneath the skin, while the PRF component provides a fibrin-rich environment containing naturally occurring cellular material and signalling proteins.
Because the finished gel is prepared from the patient’s blood, it does not contain the manufactured hyaluronic acid used in conventional dermal fillers.

What Bio Filler Can Do for You
Loss of facial volume does not always require strong contouring or projection. In some patients, the concern is a slight hollow, a shadow beneath the eyes or a gradual reduction in soft tissue support.
Bio Filler may be considered when a gentle correction is preferred. It can add softness beneath the skin while the PRF component supports gradual changes within the treated tissue.
Depending on your anatomy, it may be used to address:
Mild under-eye hollowness
Early loss of cheek volume
Soft facial folds
Fine lines around the mouth
Reduced skin thickness
Areas that require light tissue support
A tired or depleted facial appearance
Benefits of Bio Filler
Soft Volume Without Synthetic Filler
Bio Filler can provide gentle support using an injectable gel prepared from the patient’s own blood components. It may suit patients who prefer an autologous option for mild facial volume loss.
Volume and Skin Quality in One Treatment
The gel creates an initial cushioning effect beneath the skin, while the PRF component is intended to support longer-term tissue activity.
Subtle Facial Integration
Bio Filler is generally used for softer correction rather than sharp contouring. Treatment can be adapted to follow natural facial transitions and avoid excessive projection.
Your Bio Filler Treatment at Harley Street Injectables
Your visit begins with a detailed facial assessment. Your practitioner will examine the degree and location of volume loss, the condition of your skin and how each area relates to the surrounding facial structure.
Blood is then collected and processed on site to prepare both the albumin gel and PRF components. Once combined, the finished Bio Filler is placed into the selected areas using a fine needle or cannula.
Treatment is performed in controlled amounts. The goal is to soften hollows and support the tissue while maintaining natural movement and facial balance.
The amount of gel that can be prepared during an appointment is limited by the volume of blood collected. Patients requiring stronger projection or more extensive structural correction may receive a recommendation for dermal filler or another injectable treatment instead.
PREPARATION AND AFTERCARE
Tell your practitioner about any medical conditions, recent illness, blood disorders, allergies, medicines or supplements before treatment.
Certain medicines and supplements can increase bleeding or bruising. Prescribed medication should only be changed after consultation with the relevant healthcare professional.
Attend your appointment well hydrated and have a normal meal beforehand unless the clinic advises differently.
Following treatment:
Do not press or massage the treated area unless instructed
Avoid strenuous exercise for the recommended period
Avoid saunas, steam rooms and excessive heat
Avoid alcohol immediately after your appointment
Keep the injection sites clean
Follow all personalised aftercare instructions
Swelling, tenderness, redness or bruising may develop. These effects are usually temporary, but under-eye swelling may remain visible for several days.
Contact the clinic promptly if you experience increasing pain, unusual changes in skin colour, marked asymmetry or any symptom that concerns you.
FAQs
-
Bio Filler is a gel prepared from components separated from the patient’s own blood.
With the ezGEL® system, processed plasma albumin is combined with liquid PRF to produce a thicker injectable material that can provide soft tissue support.
-
The term describes its dual function.
It has a gel consistency that can create a degree of volume, while its PRF component is used to support biological activity within the treated tissue.
-
No. Conventional dermal fillers are commonly made from manufactured hyaluronic acid and are designed to create controlled volume, definition and structural support.
Bio Filler is prepared from blood-derived components and generally produces a softer, less structured correction.
-
Liquid PRF and Bio Filler come from the same treatment system but have different consistencies.
PRF remains fluid and is mainly used for skin quality. Bio Filler is thicker because PRF is combined with processed albumin gel, allowing it to provide additional tissue support.
-
Bio Filler may be considered for selected areas beneath the eyes, through the cheeks, around the mouth and within mild facial hollows.
Suitability depends on the depth of the area, skin thickness, facial anatomy and the amount of correction required.
-
It may be considered for some patients with mild under-eye hollowing or thin, crepey skin.
The under-eye area requires careful assessment. Significant eye bags, fluid retention, marked skin laxity or deeper structural volume loss may require a different treatment approach.
-
Bio Filler is generally used for soft correction rather than strong facial sculpting.
The intention is to reduce the appearance of mild hollows or depleted tissue while keeping your facial proportions and expressions recognisable.
-
Some support may be visible immediately after treatment, although swelling can temporarily affect the appearance.
Changes associated with tissue quality develop more gradually over the following weeks.
-
Results vary according to the treatment area, the amount injected, the preparation used and the patient’s metabolism.
Because Bio Filler behaves differently from hyaluronic acid filler, its duration cannot be predicted in exactly the same way. Your practitioner will explain the expected treatment plan during consultation.
