Depending on your specific concerns, we may recommend an initial course of NeoGen treatments, typically consisting of 3-6 sessions spaced at least 4 weeks apart. For long-lasting results, maintenance sessions every few years may be recommended.

Pre-Treatment Preparations: To ensure optimal results, we advise refraining from any injectable treatments, including Botox and fillers, for at least 3 to 4 weeks before undergoing NeoGen treatment. Laser treatments, threading, and waxing should also be avoided within this timeframe. Additionally, it is recommended to limit sun exposure and tanning, wear SPF50+ daily, and discontinue the use of retinols, acids, or manual exfoliants for at least 1 week before the session.

During Treatment: Before the NeoGen treatment begins, our therapists will cleanse your face and apply a hydrating hydrogel mask to prepare the skin. Depending on your individual needs discussed during the consultation, the therapist will customize the energy levels and number of passes across the skin. You may hear a ‘snapping’ sound during the treatment, which is produced by the plasma pulses in the handpiece. A slight smell of burning hair may also be noticed, as the plasma treatment can occasionally remove surface peach fuzz. Hairline and eyebrow areas are protected during the procedure. If undergoing ongoing hair removal treatment, we recommend shaving or trimming the area to avoid interference.

You may experience a warm sensation in the treated area during the procedure, which may persist for several hours afterward. The skin may appear slightly pink or reddened, with varying degrees of intensity across different areas. The skin tightening effect is usually immediate, while other indications may require more time to show visible results.

Post-Treatment Care: In the first 24-48 hours following the treatment, avoid cleansing or applying products to the treated area and keep it dry. After this initial period, you can gently cleanse with a mild cleanser and resume using SPF30+. If the skin feels dry, a small amount of unperfumed moisturizer or aloe vera gel can be applied sparingly. It is crucial to clean your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap before touching or applying any products to the skin.

During the first 5 days, it is recommended to use a clean face mask, change pillowcases and towels daily, and sleep on your back to avoid irritating the skin. Within this period, the skin may have the appearance and sensation of mild sunburn, which will gradually fade. Some flaking, tightness, and itchiness may occur in the first 2-5 days, but it is important not to pick at or peel the skin to prevent infection or scarring. Skin shedding will occur naturally through cleansing and moisturizing, and its absence does not indicate a less effective outcome.
